Restoring a Place of Prayer and Community
Since October 3, 1964, our abbey has stood as a spiritual center in Tor Lupara, near Rome, serving the community and God. However, a devastating fire left the Abbazia severely damaged. Today, we invite you to join our mission: to rebuild our monastery and restore a vibrant Christian life.

Our History – A Testament of Faith and Perseverance
In 1963, five young men began their mission in Tor Lupara under the guidance of Abbot Karl Egger, living in a former sheepfold under the simplest conditions. Through the generosity of donors, the abbey and a grand church dedicated to the Virgin Mary were built. But in 1988, a fire destroyed the church before it could be consecrated, leaving deep emotional and financial scars. Despite these challenges, our community remained steadfast in faith.
